Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world

Let us pray to the Lord that the Love of the Lord may increase day by day in us. The devil works every day to drive you down. We have not yet reached the end. Let us stand firm, let us be ebullient.

This is the state of this age, the age of Laodicea. It is deceptive, it is a false joy. The flame that the Lord lights cannot be extinguished. But this flame must be kept alive. "Maintain yourselves with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and praising the Lord with all your heart" (Ephesians 5:19)

Satan has made us so cold, that the Lord may restore us to those happy days when our pleasure was to sing and praise Him every day. "God is a refuge and a help to us, a help that never fails in trouble. (Psalm 46:1) If you have forsaken Him somewhere, return to that place, He is there waiting for you. Your God watches over you every day.

When you sing, you praise the Lord, it is already breaking ground. There is something that registers in you and so the Word can take place. "Beloved, we are now children of God" (1 John 3:2). If not, you cannot love Him. God has given us something wonderful: He gave Himself for us. "He saved us, not by works of righteousness which we had done, but according to his mercy, by the baptism of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, which he poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior" (Titus 3:5-6). God became you and you became God.

At the Cross of Golgotha, Jesus became you. The one who died on the cross of Golgotha had never sinned. God cannot kill an innocent, righteous person. But was the One who hung between heaven and earth a sinner? Death comes through transgression. Somehow we love sin because sin always clings to you. But what did Jesus Christ do that everyone should be so angry with Him?" Pilate said to them, "What evil has He done? And they cried out even louder, Crucify him! (Mark 15:14) We came by sin but He was the perfect Will of God. He was born of the Word. It was the purity, the perfection, of God Himself.

When He was 12 years old, instead of going to play with the children of His age, He was in the temple talking about the Word. Then at the Jordan River, He was baptized by John. "This is the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. (John 1:29) Jesus Christ did not come to live for Him but to live for you and me. He didn't come for business, He didn't have a house, He didn't have money, but He came for you. His life was a sacrifice for you. He was not ashamed of you because on the cross He was without clothes. He was looking for your salvation, your peace, your happiness. He was scourged for you, in your place. You don't have to do anything anymore because He did everything for you. He suffered the death that was to befall us. He gives you eternal life for free, simply because He gave His Life for you.

In all the situations you go through, He has already done because you were in His mind. Let us be zealous for God because He has forgotten nothing for us. Jesus has done everything for you.
