Psalm 16:9-11
When we speak of beloved, we are speaking of the chosen one. Our Lord cares for the one He loves and the one who loves Him. "For we love Him, because He first loved us. (1 John 4:19) Love comes from God.
You, whom the Lord has loved, love the Lord in return. Why do we love the Word of God so much more than others? When God's love is poured into our hearts, it produces love for the Word. If God is in you, you love the Word. Why do we have aspirations contrary to God? It is because you do not love God. The Word expresses the will of God. When you love God, you apply yourself to His will. "For you have need of patience, so that when you have done the will of God, you may obtain what is promised to you. (Hebrews 10:36) When you don't have the love of God, you will have a lot of trouble fulfilling the Word of God. Coming to church will be a strain on you. When you feel compelled to come, don't come because you won't get anything at all. "I rejoice when they say to me, 'Let us go to the house of the Lord'" (Psalm 122:1) If you could only understand who the Lord is to you and what He does for you! He cares for you, for your children. He gives you everything, what do you give Him in return? You give Him nothing, but He always gives you. Everything you do in the House of God, is it not for you? God does not need that. You do nothing for God. When you give bread to your brother, God rewards you but you have done nothing for God! You owe Him a lot. How can we repay Him? Even inspiration comes from God. How can we not love this Jesus? The little you do for Him, He rejoices. But He does a lot for you. That is why when you are in the House of God, praise, sing, pray to your God.
Galatians 4:19
It is Paul who speaks here, he who was in the traditions but who by the grace of God was able to understand and see the action of God in his life. He received God's call and God told him why He called him. "I declare to you, brothers, that the gospel which was preached by me is not of man; for I neither received it nor learned it from man, but by a revelation of Jesus Christ." (Galatians 1: 11-12) Inside of him is something that has been placed.
1 Thessalonians 2:1-13
Here we see the father-like tenderness he feels for God's people. He has been called for the people of God, he must love those under his care.
Galatians 4:19 / 2 Timothy 4:1-2
One must love the people to whom one has been sent to bring the Word. We are firm but we are tender. This is the character that God gives to his servants. The purpose for which the Word is to be preached is that Christ may be formed in the hearts of those who hear. When we speak of the pains of childbirth, it is because there is something inside that must come out.
Revelation 12:1-2
The pains of childbirth come when there is something inside. When you listen to the Word of God, you must have the mind of God. What is God aiming at in me? The Pharisees were the purest, but when the Lord saw them, He said "whitewashed tombs". God does not deprive you of anything. God does not force you into anything, but you feel the need to do it. God wants it to be in your heart. "The spiritual man, on the contrary, judges everything, and he himself is judged by no one." (1 Corinthians 2:15) "I do everything for the sake of the gospel, that I may have a share in it." (1 Corinthians 9:23) But the Gospel is Christ!
