Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God

On that day, when we stand before Him, we will be happy. That day will come. We must not leave this world without leaving a testimony. Just as Abraham, Peter, Paul were spoken of, you must also be spoken of. You are the history of Laodicea.

"Therefore the creation waits with eager longing for the revelation of the sons of God." (Romans 8:19) So there must be sons of God on earth. We are one of them. We must leave a mark, let our names be associated with God! "You will be hated by all for my name's sake, but he who endures to the end will be saved. (Matthew 10:20) You do not seek to be spoken of but to be spoken of Christ.

2 Timothy 1:6-7

Paul received from God what he wrote in this letter. Sometimes we have spiritual amnesia and we need God to remind us of this to rekindle faith. "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing comes from the word of Christ." (Romans 10:17) "Your word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." (Psalm 119:105) Without the Word of God we cannot move forward. The Word is not static but we must be on the move. The Word cannot be wrong. "I will not leave you orphans, I will come to you. (John 14:18) "When the Comforter is come, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you into all truth; for he will not speak of himself, but will tell you all things that he has heard, and will declare to you things to come." (John 16:13) When we are in error, He brings us back into the truth.

 1 Thessalonians 2:1-4

He could say this because he was aware of what was inside him. As a man, he could make mistakes but when he is clothed with the Spirit, it is God who speaks. We can make mistakes but when the Spirit comes, He brings you back into the truth. Man is fallible, but God is always infallible. God is the Spirit.

 2 Timothy 1:3

An elect thinks of others but not of the world. When the disciples were scourged, they came to their own. "Behold, oh, how pleasant and how sweet it is for brothers to dwell together! (Psalm 133:1) "Those therefore who received his word heartily were baptized; and in that day were added about three thousand souls." (Acts 2:41) They were putting everything together. Who? Those who received willingly. So we have the same feeling. When we pray, we think of our brothers and sisters because we struggle together. "Therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with the bowels of mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience." (Colossians 3:12)

Colossians 3:12-13

The Lord knows that the weaknesses of the flesh come, that is why He tells us this. As long as your brother or sister is making the effort to hold on to the Word, then bear with them. We must learn to pray for one another. If you don't, we are not in order with the Scriptures.

2 Timothy 1:1-7

Timothy was a son to Paul. Timothy had received a gift from God. Since he received something from God, then he needed the prayer of others. When a person manifests gifts, then we should pray for him. Don't be jealous because if his or her gift progresses, it is for your blessing. When you are jealous, you are carnal. "For the affection of the flesh is enmity against God" (Romans 8:7) Abel did not make trouble for anyone but Cain was the one who was jealous. If we are children of God, there is something that needs to happen within us.

Justification - Sanctification - Baptism of the Holy Spirit

We really need to be cleansed. Every day that goes by, God must really remove the roots that are left in us. When God is going to uproot, you will feel the pain but it is necessary. The Spirit that God has given us is not a Spirit of timidity but a Spirit of strength, love and wisdom.

Ephesians 4:1-3 / 2 Timothy 1:7-9

The Spirit of God also gives us humility, gentleness and patience. We speak of AGAPAO love, that is, perfect love. "(1 Corinthians 13:4) So when God gives gifts, I am not envious but I pray and support my brother. Selfishness is of the devil, hatred is of the devil. Do not fight against God, but fight against Satan. When God called you, He did not make a mistake. We are called to take a stand for the Gospel. Don't be ashamed of the Gospel. We must be men of character. Some have died so as not to deny Christ, but what have you done? We must leave a mark. Our children, our grandchildren must have a reference. Your children see you. When you let your children go, you are destroying them. If you do not show your daughters the way, they will become prostitutes. In this age, women are stripped naked to put them out. Do not let your children do this. We are a holy people, we must educate our children in the right way. "Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; the rod of correction shall remove it from him." (Proverbs 22:15) Later, those children will be a judgment on you. When God loves us, He doesn't let us do anything. "I rebuke and chasten all those I love. (Revelation 3:19)

Ephesians 4:2-6

We are always impatient, but God wants us to be patient. Moses was a hot-tempered man and God put him through some tough times. Moses became the most patient man. We must know how to expect God in calmness and tranquility. Let your faith always work in patience. It is your faith that makes the work happen in you. "He (Abraham) was strengthened by faith" (Romans 4:20)

If you can't stand someone who doesn't like you, you have a problem too. When someone insults you and you respond with an insult, you are in the same condition. "He who was reviled did not revile, nor did he threaten, but trusted in him who judges righteously" (1 Peter 2:23) Your children hear and repeat what you say! Even in anger, guard against bad words. If you hear the child say it again, don't hit him or her, but hit yourself. What we do will have an impact on the times to come.

We are not talking about the human spirit but about the Spirit of God. Unity is in the Body of Christ. We must be in the same Spirit to be in unity. We must enter into this unity through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. "Seek peace with all men, and sanctification, without which no man shall see the Lord." (Hebrews 12:14) Never be the source of trouble, but be the source of peace. God never brings trouble. Where there is the Spirit of God, there is: peace, joy, love, ... If everywhere you go, there are broken hearts and disputes, you do not have the Spirit of God in you. When you visit each other, what do you bring? If you have nothing to bring, don't go. Help your brothers and sisters. Don't go telling your problems to others, you have a pastor. Keep your complaints to yourself! Wherever we go, we must leave peace.

God is looking for us to be in the unity of faith. At Pentecost, they all received the Word and that led to unity. The same heart, the same faith. We saw what this produced, every day the Lord added souls. But you, you make those who come run away. Be true parents, do not be lax. We have to live also for the others.
