Jacob I have loved but Esau I have hated

Our God is merciful. God's will is "that all men may be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth." (2 Timothy 2:4) God never wants misfortune for His people. "Beloved, I wish you to prosper in all respects and to be in good health, as the state of your soul prospers." (3 John 1:2) When sickness came, He became your healing. When death came, He became your Savior. When we are in those He knew beforehand, then we can love Him.

Romans 9:6-13

God speaks to us here about election. We see here that it does not depend on you.

Before they could make a move, God had made His choice. God is wise. No one can change what God has said. Before they were born, God had said that and in their childhood, growth translated that. When God spoke, Satan also heard. The devil influences people's lives, he could have acted to change and make it not so. Satan tried to make Esau good and Jacob bad. Even nature manifested this. Trust the Lord and you will succeed. You are above it. When God has said, the thing must come to pass as He has declared. From birth, Jacob was always attached to his mother. Esau always around his father. Satan had done everything to keep the promise from being fulfilled. Esau did everything to please his father so that his father's heart would be changed. Esau was the firstborn, how could the firstborn be subject to the other? Nature shows that what God said could not be. God is not in logic. When you are bludgeoned every day, faith weakens. It was the father who had to bless, that's why Esau was good to his father. No matter what the circumstances, believe what God has told you because it will come true. "But say only one word, and my servant will be healed. (Matthew 8:8) This is the attitude we must have. We must be conquerors. "But in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." (Romans 8:37)

Jacob was a mama's boy. Esau was doing all the hard work, plus he was the eldest i.e. the father's strength, the heir. The mother had the secret because she had consulted the Lord. She knew what God had told her, she was at peace.

Isaac was getting old, his eyes were weakening. God puts everything into action. "He is not afraid of bad news; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD." (Psalm 112:7) "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28) As long as I walk with God, I don't care what news may come. "The righteous shall live by faith." (Romans 1:17) God has a plan for you. That's why you are conqueror and have victory. The three Hebrews were alone. Everyone was kneeling before the statue, the furnace before them. "Behold, our God whom we serve can deliver us from the fiery furnace, and he will deliver us from your hand, O king. If not, know, O king, that we will not serve your gods, nor worship the golden image that you have set up." (Daniel 3:17-18) They were determined, they had faith in God. They were thrown into the furnace, their clothes did not even smell of smoke. "And the victory that overcomes the world is our faith." (1 John 5:4) Your God is alive, He works. Jesus is risen for our justification. Jesus did not come to Pilate but to those who loved Him, who mourned Him. We are in a war, the world is fighting you. Don't come in any way, come as fighters: soldiers of Christ. You take the ammunition from the house of God to go to the front. "To him who overcomes" (Revelation 2:26) You must have the necessary weapons. When the rider changed colors, the living being had changed too. You can't be scammed, you have something more. When the king of Syria wanted to attack Israel, God showed the king's plan to the prophet. Satan was defeated, we are more than defeated. It's over, we have the victory. You are the sons of God, the people of God. No one can break you, always strong because God fights for you. Outside the devil is waiting. "Oh, if you were attentive to my commandments! Your welfare would be like a river, And your happiness like the waves of the sea;" (Isaiah 48:18)

Jacob had the thought of the right of descent. A son of God always looks up. Never defeat. One day, his brother came back hungry and Jacob was sitting there. He was making lentils to eat. God made sure that Esau could not find anything to eat and there he smells the lentils. "And Esau said unto Jacob, Let me, I pray thee, eat of this red pottage, for I am faint." And Jacob said, Sell me this day your birthright." (Genesis 25:30-31) Jacob bargained for something that was not palpable, not seen. Esau thought that Jacob was not smart, because the birthright comes because you are born first. But Jacob understood very well. Be like Jacob. Esau was hungry, and Jacob asks for something like this! The birthright could not be interchangeable. But be careful, this is the natural man, always down to earth like Nicodemus when Jesus told him to be born again. Esau was down to earth, but Jacob knew what he was doing. How can you exchange something natural with something spiritual. The spiritual man acts differently, others cannot understand. You cannot understand a servant of God under the anointing of God because God makes him act differently. This was in God's plan.

Jacob was certain of this because in God's plan, he was to be the firstborn. Esau agrees to sell his right. Jacob had been waiting for this all his life. Esau had something so important that he took it lightly. Jacob was particular, he even fought with the angel to get the blessing. A son of God is determined, God wants to see your perseverance. When the opportunity came, he took it. It was God's time. Jacob waited all this time for this moment. He didn't prepare just anything, but lentils because that gives you energy. When Esau accepted, it was over for him. The word you speak has consequences. That's why you should never say a word in anger, because Satan hears it and he will carry out the word. You are the one who gave permission to the demons to act. Esau spoke, and before God it was fulfilled. From that day on, the birthright had passed to Jacob. Esau did not understand this, he still thought he had the blessing. But it is God who gives the blessing.

Isaac calls Esau and asks him to prepare a meal for him to receive the blessing. Rebekah saw this, but she had received the revelation. "Make me a dish like I like, and bring it to me to eat, that my soul may bless you before I die." (Genesis 27:4) The Lord gave Abraham the blessing after he ate what Abraham had prepared for him. When you have eaten well, you are joyful and when you pray for the blessing, you pray with all your heart. Esau went hunting for game. He went far away, God did His work. God made you what you are, so excel in that. Rebekah calls Jacob, and asks him to prepare. Jacob was right next to the person who received the revelation. Jacob was not going left or right, but he was following the mother. Esau was hairy but Jacob was not: problem! He was doing all this to deceive Isaac, the dad and the husband. This was in God's plan. We can't put God in a bottle. We owe Him respect. "She covered her hands with the skin of goats, and her neck, which was without hair. (Genesis 27:16) Jacob moves on.

God had already done the work, if Isaac saw well it would have been impossible. God knows how to do it, let him do it! "Jacob came to Isaac his father, and he touched him, and said, The voice is the voice of Jacob, but the hands are the hands of Esau." (Genesis 27:22) For the birthright, Jacob could do anything. Isaac had a doubt about the voice, but he couldn't resist the smell of the dish. Esau had sold his birthright, God could not accept that and on top of that, he had said "I loved Jacob and hated Esau." (Romans 9:13) Isaac eats the dish, he was well disposed. All the blessings that were in Isaac's heart came upon Jacob.

Genesis 27:1-37

Rebekah was really determined. God did this with Jacob because the blessing that Isaac was to give was total, there was nothing left afterwards. God sees in advance how things were going to turn out and He made His choice. God is the master of all circumstances. When God has said something about someone, Satan can do anything, but what God has said will come to pass. Abraham believed the promise, the trials came but he believed. He saw the promise fulfilled.

What did God say to you? Why are you trembling? God will do what He did to Jacob with you. Your problem is to take part in this and believe. God sent you to be a light. The light does not complain but shines for others. "You are the light of the world." (Matthew 5:14) Excel in what God has given you! What God has said and proclaimed beforehand, will never fail. The election can never fail. You have been elected to overcome this. God takes care of those who are His. In every Age, God cares only for those who are His and not for everyone else. You must be in the light to overcome. No matter how strong the devil may be, do not tremble. What will I become? You are going to become what God wants you to be. We just saw that with Jacob. God will always get you over the top. For the three Hebrews, the measures went up, it got hot but God provided for them. They never gave up. If you are a son of God, even in adversity, God can never leave you. The more pressure comes, the more you get purified. The stronger you are in the spiritual realm, the stronger you are. The devil always uses the weapon of fear. So much pressure was put on the disciples, they were forbidden to preach, they were locked up. The prison was tightly closed, squads of guards in front and behind them. They were blocked, they could not do anything. But inside, they were not afraid. Against all odds, the angel came and led them out. That is your strength, to trust even when there is no way out. "Hoping against hope" (Romans 4:18) "But an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors during the night and brought them out, and said to them, 'Go and stand in the temple and proclaim to the people all the words of this life'" (Acts 5:19-20). (Acts 5:19-20) "When the bailiffs arrived, they did not find them in the prison. They returned and reported, saying, "We found the prison carefully locked, and the guards standing at the doors; but when we opened, we found no one in it." (Acts 5:22-23) God does the impossible. With a son of God, the impossible does not exist!
