Your Word is a lamp unto my feet

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. "(John 3:16) The door to salvation is still open. Simeon has seen his salvation, Jesus Christ. God, who created the heavens and the earth, had made a promise to Simeon. The people did not understand but Simeon knew what was happening before his eyes.

When you know this God and you have a relationship with Him then when God does something, you are sure. When God speaks, you have to be in the right place, the Holy Spirit leads us. The Holy Spirit makes us do things that are different from our thoughts, from our conceptions God does not do what I think God does not follow your desires otherwise it would be cacophony. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord. "(Isaiah 55:8) Let His Will be done and not ours. "For you have need of patience, that, having done the will of God, you may obtain that which is promised to you. "(Hebrews 10:36) To get what God has promised us, there is one condition: to do God's Will. Do you sincerely desire that God's Will be done in your life? If we really sought the Will of God then there would be no more struggles. We have perseverance. This reminds us of the Canaan woman. A foreigner who had nothing to do with the people of God. "It is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs. "(Matthew 15:26) In spite of this, she persevered because she knew that if only Jesus could say a word, she knew it would be over for her. She could have rebelled, a man of God calling you a dog! God wants to work on our insides. You can take care of your outside but if you don't take care of the inside then "you are like whitened graves" (Matthew 23:27). When the Word of God comes out and it is not according to your mind then you start to get angry.

Psalm 119:105-107

"If it is necessary, be grieved for a little while by various trials, so that the trial of your faith, which is more precious than perishable gold..." (1 Peter 1:6-7) Through trials, God prunes us and forms our character. When we pick up gold, it is raw. It has to be put in a furnace at a very high temperature to remove all the impurities. So there is a work that is done. "And just as we have borne the image of the earthly, we will also bear the image of the heavenly. "(1 Corinthians 15:49) If we look at ourselves, we still see the image of the earthly but God is doing a work in you so that we can see the heavenly in you, that is, the Lord of Glory. We must grasp the exact thought of God. How can we make sure that when people look at me, they don't see me anymore but they see someone else?

Genesis 1:26-27

God created man in His own image. Therefore, when we see man, we must see God. "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. "(Colossians 1:15)

1 Corinthians 15:49

Now we have the image of the earthly, but we must wear the image of the heavenly! This is the Will of God. It is only in Genesis 2 that God forms man from the earth. Now, God is Spirit. He cannot be earthly. Man is made of 3 parts: body, spirit and soul. The Lord often speaks about "The soul that sins, it is the one that will die. "(Ezekiel 18:20) God is not interested in our exterior. God is looking for that man created in His image, not the carnal one. Jesus said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. "(John 3:3) Why did he have to be born again? "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. "(John 3:6) There is flesh and there is spirit. "You worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour is coming, and has already come, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for these are the worshippers whom the Father requires. "(John 4:22-23) It is essential to know the mind of God. You will die one day! We are worthless. Our bodies are worthless. What we carry, one day it will rot. "The Spirit himself bears witness to our spirit that we are children of God. "(Romans 8:16) To be a son of God, there are conditions. "But to all who received him, to those who believe in his name, he gave power to become children of God" (John 1:12) Everyone talks about Jesus but not everyone knows Jesus.

John 14:8-9 / John 1:43-46

It is the same Philip. We must let ourselves know the Lord. The fact that you come to church every service is not a sign that you are saved!  But when you are saved, you know who you serve. When you belong to the Lord, we don't have to beg you. We can't beg you, God needs His own. God doesn't have to answer to us. It is about your salvation and your soul, you are free to go wherever you want. You must know what you are committed to! Men of character. When Gideon went to war, God put the people through a test. Only a few were chosen. God wants men of character. At Pentecost, they were not begged, but everyone had a desire to be together, to share, to commune. We have become too carnal. Where are we going with this? "I have been with you so long, and you have not known me, Philip! "(John 14:9) If God calls us, it is because He knows us. With Him, we grow more and more. Philip was called by Jesus. Every day he walked with Jesus. And you, how often do you walk with the Lord? That is why we need our gatherings. When you come to be a figurehead, you are killing yourselves. "Those therefore who heartily received his word were baptized; and in that day were added to the church about three thousand souls. "(Acts 2:41) They were not told, but it was in their hearts. They were concerned with the Word: "Men and brethren, what shall we do? (Acts 2:37) They were willing to fulfill and abide by the Scriptures. How do you walk? Salvation is individual. "I tell you, on that night, of two people who are in the same bed, one will be taken and one will be left" (Luke 17:34) It is about character. Israel went through the desert to sort through the trial. It is in the trial that you see character. You think you are ready but you are not. In Egypt, they cried their way out of slavery. They saw the Hand of God through the plagues. There were many deaths in Egypt while life was in Goshen. Many deaths while there was no war. A great king, Pharaoh, who could do nothing. Your faith must be so deep-rooted that even if someone wants to show you that God does not exist, you are certain that God is Alive! It takes full faith to go to the rapture. For your healing, you don't believe so how are you going to go to the rapture? We don't play games. Grace is that you didn't do anything. Someone else has done for you. In the Old Testament, a lamb was brought in to be slaughtered. "...without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. "(Hebrews 9:22) This blood that was shed was a substitute for the man's blood but the man's life was not changed. He was still in the same condition, his sin was just covered. The blood of that animal could not help that man change his life. But someone died in your place, Jesus Christ man. If it was the blood of a man, you would still be a sinner. It was not the blood of a man, but the precious blood, without blemish. There was nothing else but God Himself. That is why today we can have the Spirit of God in us. By the blood that was shed, no matter how big the sin was, the sin was washed away. "Here is the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. "(John 1:29) He takes away the root of sin. When you are saved, the taste of sin is removed. We can no longer live in the same way. The life that comes into you makes you holy. It is the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, that is, the life that was in the blood. "He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. "(John 6:54) The blood is the life of God that comes into the believer. "If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong. "(Romans 8:9) This is redemption, we become his property. That's why He has to put His mark on you, to show that you are His property. When you are a slave and you are freed, you will always remember that day. When God sets you free, you will always remember it. There must be that day in your life. You know the One who redeemed you, you must remember that day. That's how Satan will lose his power over you. I was a slave of Satan but on that day when Jesus came, I became free.

Let's have the faith of Yokebed, she took the baby and put it in the basket. Then she put him on the Nile and gave him into God's hands. God protected. "He forgives all your iniquities and heals all your diseases" (Psalm 103:3).
