We don't know how to do it, or what to do, but God comes and shows us the way. Satan does a lot just to discourage the Christian. Satan always tries to make you reason, how can you believe in what you don't see? "But as it is written, "These are things which eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have they entered into the heart of man, things which God has prepared for those who love him. (1 Corinthians 2:9) We are certain of what God has given us. That is the difference with Satan. Satan cannot have what we have: God has given you faith, that is, to believe in the impossible. That is your strength, your victory.
God has placed us in another dimension. When we believe in the impossible, then the impossible becomes possible. We change the impossible into possible, others cannot. The people of Israel were walking in the desert without water. God took a man and said to him "You see the rock there, speak to the rock". God did not say "I will talk to the rock" but He said "talk to the rock and it will give you water". God brings man to a dimension where he cannot go himself. When you see a man put down, and even the others who push him down further, how can he stand up and say, "I wish with an iron chisel and with lead they were engraved forever in the rock... But I know that my redeemer lives, And that he will rise last on earth. When my skin is destroyed, he will arise; when I have no flesh, I will see God. (Job 19:24-26) Humanly, this is impossible.
Don't compare yourself to anyone else. Your salvation does not depend on others, but you must fight for your salvation, it is about you. You must believe in the Word. "You are gods" (Psalm 82:6). To whom is God addressing this?
1 Peter 2:6-7
When you believe in Him, something happens. Like the Ethiopian eunuch on the road, he heard the Word and wanted to be baptized. You believe in Him and you demonstrate to men that you believe in Him. That is baptism. He becomes the main thing in my own life, I can't leave him out. I have died with Him and I have risen with Him. I walk in newness of life. When God says, "You are gods," He is talking to specific people. These people cannot have any doubt. When you believe Him and receive Him as your personal Savior, then you are happy. Let's stop acting. "We have found Him of whom Moses wrote in the law and of whom the prophets spoke, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph." (John 1:45) When I have this Jesus, it's over. When you have doubts, you have not believed in Him. When you believe in Him, it is impossible to doubt Him. You identify yourself with Him. If you don't, then you are acting. "And I saw a mighty angel crying with a loud voice, saying, Who is worthy to open the book and to loose its seals? And no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the book or look into it. And I wept greatly because no one was found worthy to open the book or to look into it. (Revelation 5: 2-4)
Revelation 5:4-13
All creatures have realized that the redemption has been accomplished. Do you realize the magnitude of the redemption for you? If Jesus is your Redeemer, what is one thing that may be impossible for you? When Adam was in the Garden of Eden, was there anything that was impossible for him? When Adam spoke, it was as if God spoke. He had authority over all things. He was a god on earth. Look at the relationship he had with God. Every night God would come down to commune. He could not doubt God because he was the son of God.
Genesis 2:19-24
The man gave the names to the animals, they were the names that God wanted to give because there was a connection between them.
Matthew 19:1-5
We are talking about the Creator here, yet it was Adam who said this! When they say "You are gods", you have to understand that. When you are a son of God, you can never doubt God. A son of God is a part of the Word, you can't deny yourself. God has placed something in you. Your neighbor is always murmuring but you, the more you go through the trial, the more your faith is anchored. "The trial of your faith, more precious than perishable gold which is nevertheless tested by fire, will result in praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ appears" (1 Peter 1:7). It is in the trial that we see what is inside the person. The three Hebrews faced the furnace and did not budge. You will be judged severely. All the men had to kneel before the statue (It was the statue of Daniel)
Judas could do anything, but he would always be Judas. So did Cain. Resistance to the Word of God, doubt in the Word of God, is the worst thing you can do. Saul was anointed but God still tests by the Word. God gave him a command, but Saul did as he pleased. "Behold, obedience is better than sacrifice" (1 Samuel 15:22) Cain wanted to offer flowers and fruit, things that are beautiful, but that is not what God wanted. God is speaking to you. "Surely, if thou doest well, thou shalt lift up thy face; and if thou doest ill, sin shall lie down at the door, and his lusts shall be toward thee: but thou shalt rule over him." (Genesis 4: 7) "I know not; am I my brother's keeper?" (Genesis 4:9) What relationship, what connection do we have with God? When you have a relationship with God, there is no more anguish. Jesus on earth said, "I and the Father are one. (John 10:30) How could he act differently from what the Father said? "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. (John 2:19) A man cannot have 100% assurance that if he returns to earth, that he will rise again. There is only one who could say that and it is the same one who said "you will not allow your holy one to see corruption." (Psalm 16:10) Jesus knew who He was and where He came from. He could not doubt. We are beyond those who were in the Old Testament because they could not achieve perfection without us. When you are sons and daughters of God, you no longer have to be afraid of anything.
1 Corinthians 15:1-6 and 51
A son begotten of God, you cannot put him down. There is no suffering, no sickness that can make him doubt God. Nothing can bring down a son of God. Who can come to be above God? You have the power to cast out Satan. Here on earth there is nothing that cannot overcome you. Take courage, let nothing bring you down. Have peace in your heart, what can men do to you? "What then shall we say in regard to these things? If God is for us, who will be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how can he not also give us all things with him? Who will accuse God's chosen ones? It is God who justifies! Who will condemn them? Christ died, but more than that, he rose again, and is at the right hand of God, making intercession for us. (Romans 8:31-34)
