God does not force you to do anything. He takes the place you give Him. May we abandon all resistance so that God can do what He wants in us. Each of us must truly die to self. To die in Christ is to live. When you are dead, you don't have to do anything else because He is in you. As long as you are not dead, there will always be your reason, your thought that will take over.
Man is always trying to justify himself, he is always discussing the Word. But we have to get to the point of saying, "I am the clay, you are the potter, give me the shape you like. "For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not speak after this of another day. (Hebrews 4:8) He who is in the rest of the Lord rests from all things. And the rest is the Lord Jesus Christ. So when He dwells in you, you are at rest. No more torments, no more worries, no more efforts to make, it is rest. "After He has given His life as an offering for sin, He shall see a seed and prolong His days; And the work of the Lord shall prosper in His hand." (Isaiah 53:10) He is the one doing the work. "And behold, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world." (Matthew 28: 20)
When they heard this, their hearts were greatly moved, and they said to Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do? Brothers, what shall we do? (Acts 2:37) Their hearts were willing. When they received willingly, the Holy Spirit did the work. They sold and shared everything. It is the same for us. When you heartily receive the Word, the Holy Spirit works in you. When you receive the Holy Spirit, the Throne of Judgment descends in you, that's why you are careful with what you do. Why the quarrels, why the ulterior motives? Because the one who is inside is not the one who should be inside. When you receive Christ, you no longer think only of yourself, but also of the one in front of you. When you have the thought of seeing the other person burn, then God comes and tells you that He did not send you to be a murderer, but that the other person may have life. You can't act like that because you are different. "If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful, for he cannot deny himself." (2 Timothy 2:13) "I will not leave you nor forsake you." (Joshua 1:5) "If you go through the waters, I will be with you; And the rivers, they will not overwhelm you; If you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, And the flame will not set you on fire." (Isaiah 43:2) When God takes you through trials that take you into a new dimension, then you can say, "I consider all these things as mud." Before you go with God, you must fulfill the mission God has given you on earth. There is a purpose for which God has chosen you. We must understand the importance of fellowship. Let us appreciate our brothers and sisters. Each one of us has his own shortcomings but each one has the same desire as you to serve the Lord. Let us support each other, let the strongest help the weakest, but let the weakest also let themselves be helped by the others. Even when you are at your wits' end, God asks you to persevere in doing good. Eternal life is living for others. If you are only concerned about yourself, then ask yourself if you are saved.
2 Peter 1:19-21
Every word that is given to you, you must check it in the Holy Scriptures like the Berean Christians, because we do not follow a man but we only want what God tells us. It is not a preacher who comes for the Bride but Jesus Christ, so our faith must be based on Him. Time on earth is limited, there is nothing eternal. The Laodicean Age is the most difficult Age. "There were false prophets among the people, and there will be false teachers among you, who will introduce pernicious sects, and who, denying the master who redeemed them, will bring sudden destruction upon themselves." (2 Peter 2:1) This is a time of mixture. You have to be sure that your foundation is solid. You have to be sure that if God comes today, I'm leaving.
All the churches think they are going to the rapture, but what is the difference between you and them? Many take the Word and put it aside. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1) The Bible we have is God in written form. So if you put the Bible aside, you have a problem. "Simon told how God first looked upon the nations to choose from among them a people to bear his name." (Acts 15:14) Among the nations there are many, but God chose a people. How does God choose? The Gospel came, everyone believed. The Catholics were full of falsehoods and the light came through Luther. "And my righteous shall live by faith" (Hebrews 10:38) How did he know this? But only by the Word. When people believed, they created doctrines along the way. But God is not in dogmas and creeds. At that point, Jesus comes out. Then comes Wesley. They all came out through the Scriptures. Everyone who has been taught by Christ knows the whip. The gift you are given is not to sort out, but it is to help others.
What makes us today feel different from other churches? They also read the Bible. The Bible is our Absolute. The Bible is balanced. The Old Testament announces what was to happen and the New Testament announces the fulfillment of what was said. The 4 living beasts are in the New Testament, they are there to watch over the Word. They are the guardians of the Throne. They have eyes all around, nothing escapes them. God's way is the Bible. When a person has the itch to preach, do not run after from that person. When God chose a man, He bridled him because He knows the value of this Word and He also knows the price to pay. "And I consider it my duty, as long as I am in this tent, to keep you alert with warnings, for I know that I will leave it suddenly, as our Lord Jesus Christ has made known to me." (2 Peter 1:13-14) Peter, Paul and the others knew the fate that awaited them. When you serve God rightly, men will hate you. Today, we seek honors, but the disciples were not like that. God puts respect for His servants in the hearts of His children. Jesus did not receive any honor at Simon's house. He did not say anything, but the prostitute woman came and washed His feet with her hair and with her tears. When you lower a man of God, God raises him. Sometimes God pushes you to do something, you don't know why but you will understand it later. When Jesus said, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in yourselves." (John 6:53) All left but the twelve remained. "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. And we have believed and known that you are the Christ, the Holy One of God. Jesus said to them, "Didn't I choose you, the twelve? And one of you is a devil! (John 6:68-70) God has His way of doing things. Your life cannot be your own. It is impossible for a son of God to have an evil thought toward his brother. "Having purified your souls by obeying the truth to have sincere brotherly love, love one another ardently with all your heart" (1 Peter 1:22).
When you are sure and convinced of the Word, no one can uproot you. To this day, God wants you to be a witness. That is why you are chosen, why you are chosen, it is to be a witness. You are a witness because you have experienced it. "The doorkeeper opens to him, and the sheep hear his voice; he calls the sheep that belong to him by name, and leads them out. (John 10:3) You came out because He called you by name. "My ear has heard of you, but now my eye has seen you. (Job 42:5) When you come to this, there is no more complaining or murmuring. They will come and distract you along the way, but you must know where you are going. "I also know; be silent. (2 Kings 2:3) When Elijah came and threw the coat over Elisha, from that day forward, Elisha was connected to Elijah. "As the Lord lives, so does your soul! I will not leave you." (2 Kings 2:2) Brother, you must be convinced, you must know who called you because some will come and deceive you. You are different, you are a son of God, you must listen to the voice of the great eagle. The eagle is careful with its food. The vulture can eat the rottenness, but not the eagle. "We will obey you completely, as we obeyed Moses. Only see that the Lord your God is with you, as he was with Moses! (Joshua 1:17) The people were demanding. You must be demanding in the food you receive. The vulture sees blurred, but the eagle the higher he climbs, the better he sees.
